How to represent the Design Center in 50 pixels
When Adobe needed to bring attention to new sections of the website, they called on design:unknown to create the iconography.
"We originally developed a large set of ruby red icons that were done from a straight on perspective. About a year later when Adobe approached us again, we wanted to keep a consistent look with the original set, but up the sophistication and challenge ourselves at the same time." says John.
By adding dimension to the icons and taking a new approach to the lighting, combined with strong conceptual thinking, design:unknown was able to develop a new visual language for the iconography while keeping it in tune with the entire icon suite.
